The Department of Accountancy and Graduate Institute of Finance, National Cheng Kung University invites application for full-time faculty positions with expertise in Accounting, Finance, Tax (Accounting) and/or Accounting Information System

Tenure-track Faculty Position

Several faculty openings for assistant, associate, or full professors.

Date of Appointment

Starting from August 1, 2026 or February 1, 2027.

Requirements

1. Applicants should meet any of the following criteria:

(1)A Ph.D. degree in Accounting, Finance or Tax (Accounting) awarded by a domestic (Taiwan) or overseas university, and specialize in research about and teaching Accounting, Tax (Accounting) or related fields. Preference will be given to applicants who have the potential to publish quality research papers in accounting or finance journals listed in the Social Science Citation Index.

(2)A Ph.D. degree in Computer Science or a related field awarded by a domestic (Taiwan) or overseas university, and specialize in research about and teaching information technology applied to accounting, finance or related fields. Preference will be given to applicants who have the potential to publish quality research papers in management related journals listed in the Social Science Citation Index or Science Citation Index.

2.Applicants must have the ability to teach professional courses in full English to meet the requirements of EMI courses.

3.Applicants who enter the campus interview after being reviewed by the department’s faculty committee will need to give a presentation on an unpublished academic study, and conduct demonstration teaching in English, and answer questions in English from faculty and students of the department.

2.Copy of Ph.D. certificate and transcripts.

3.Complete list of publications, including one representative academic paper published in the last 5 years (doctoral dissertation can be considered) and other academic works published in the last 7 years.

4.Three letters of recommendation.

5.Certificate of current employment for those who apply for associate or full professorship.

6.Other materials that can assist the recruiting committee to learn more about the applicant’s abilities and qualifications.

＊Academic and work experience certificates obtained abroad must be verified by ROC (Taiwan) Embassies and Missions abroad.

＊If you are approved, you must bring the original of the above documents to the personnel office for inspection when you are notified to report for work.
