The Department of Accountancy and Graduate Institute of Finance, National Cheng Kung University invites applications for full-time faculty positions specializing in Accounting (Taxation) and/or Finance

Tenure-track Faculty Position

Several faculty openings for assistant, associate, or full professors.

Date of Appointment

Starting from February 1, 2027 or August 1, 2027.

Requirements

1.Applicants should meet one of the following qualifications:

(1)A Ph.D. in Accounting (Taxation) from a domestic (Taiwan) or overseas university, with specialization in research and teaching in Accounting (Taxation), or related fields. Preference will be given to applicants who have the potential to publish in SSCI-listed accounting or finance journals.

(2)A Ph.D. in Finance from a domestic (Taiwan) or overseas university, with specialization in research and teaching in Accounting (Taxation), or related fields. Preference will be given to applicants who have the potential to publish in SSCI-listed accounting or finance journals, and to those qualified and willing to teach Econometrics.

2.Applicants must be able to teach professional courses in English to meet the requirements of EMI courses.

3.Applicants who pass the initial screening and are invited for an on-campus interview will be required to give a presentation on an unpublished academic study, conduct a teaching demonstration in English, and answer questions in English from faculty and students.

1.Curriculum vitae (in English or Chinese).

2.Copy of Ph.D. certificate and transcripts.

3.A list of publications and up to five papers published within the past five years (including the doctoral dissertation).

4.Three letters of recommendation.

5.Certificate of current employment for those who apply for associate or full professorship.

6.Other materials that can assist the recruiting committee to learn more about the applicant’s abilities and qualifications.

＊Academic and work experience certificates obtained abroad must be verified by ROC (Taiwan) Embassies and Missions abroad.

＊Upon receiving the notice of approval for reporting, the originals of the above documents must be brought to the Personnel Office for verification.
